ENGINE CO. 4 VISITS "GROUND ZERO"
JANUARY 6, 2002
On Sunday January 6,2002 at 0900hrs, members of Engine Co. 4 were given the privilege to visit "Ground Zero" at the World Trade Center site in New York City. The members brought food to the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey Command Post for the officers detailed to work the site. A special thanks to Chief Richard Radoian who arranged the visit.
Visiting the site, which can only be described as ghastly, the realization of September 11, 2001 smacks you right in the face and you leave their with a pain which can not be described. We were not able to lend a hand, but we prayed for those who were lost, their families and the brothers and sisters whose job it is to bring them home.
