INVALID LOCATION PROGRAM
During an emergency, especially a fire, there is very little time to hesitate. Imagine that you or a loved one is either temporarily or permanently disabled. Could you get yourself or them out safely?
The Fort Lee Fire Department has an "Invalid Location Program" that allows us to know exactly where these people are in any type of building and what type of disability they may have. The department maintains a running list in our computer system of those who live and work within the Borough of Fort Lee who may need our assistance in evacuating the building.
